Uses of Pt Counter Electrode and Calomel Electrode
In some electrochemical cells, there is a constitution of pt counter electrode which plays an important role in the electrochemical reaction. These electrodes are available at a reasonable price in the market and being resistant to acids, oxidation, and other solvents; these are used in varied industries. A counter electrode in used to provide an input potential to a working electrode. It is with their assistance, that the circuit is complete and current keeps flowing continuously through it.
